Compilación de 37 composiciones sobre temas sugeridos por el libro del Antiguo Testamento, Levítico. Su mensaje es que las leyes de la historia se centran en la vida santa de Israel (el pueblo judío). Si los judíos obedecen las leyes de la sociedad que persiguen la santificación de Israel, entonces la historia predestinada se desarrollará tal como Israel lo espera. Israel, por su parte, puede influir en su propio destino. Por consiguiente, la salvación al final de la historia depende de la santificación en el aquí y el ahora.
